Advertising prefers to receive resume submissions as
either plain text (ASCII) or Rich Text Format (RTF).
RTF
files retain all basic formatting and are platform independent
allowing for the document to be read by users of Windows,
Mac and Linux.
Having said that, how do you save a document as RTF from within Microsoft Word? It's Easy!
1) If it's not already open, double-click on the document to open it within Word.
2) From the Word menu bar choose FILE -> SAVE AS...
3) When the Save As dialog box opens, locate the section labeled SAVE AS TYPE and click on the arrow to drop down a list of choices.
4) From the selection list choose Rich Text Format (RTF). Your document will now be saved as {DOCUMENT NAME}.RTF.
5) You may now attach this RTF file to your e-mail message for delivery.
